Dr De Luca graduated from St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College, London, UK and was also awarded a Bachelor of Science (majoring in History of Medicine). He commenced Gastroenterology and Hepatology specialty training in the UK and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1996. He then moved to Sydney to further his specialty training and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2000.
He is accredited by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia to perform gastroscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy and Eteroscopy.
He is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Norwest Private and St Vincent's Hospital, Darlinghurst and visits Norwest Private, St Vincent's Private and Southern Highlands Private. He consults at the Westmead and Norwest Private Rooms and Southern Highlands Private.
He enjoys treating a wide variety of gastroenterological problems and has a passion for good patient communication and new technologies in interventional endoscopy.
