Dr Chow graduated from the University of Sydney in 1999. She completed her general surgical training through Westmead Hospital, Sydney in 2006 and commenced colorectal training in 2007 at Prince of Wales, Sydney. She completed her second year of colorectal training at Royal Brisbane and Womens' Hospital in 2008 and enjoying the Brisbane lifestyle and weather, she continued on as a Colorectal Surgeon at Royal Brisbane and Womens' Hospital and the Mater Adults Hospital in 2009. Pursuing her interests in robotic surgery, in 2013, she completed the International Fellowship for Robotic and Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery at the Korea University, Anam Hospital, Seoul, Korea.
Dr Chow has several areas of interest including laparoscopic and robotic surgery for malignant and benign disease. She also has experience with functional disorders. She is a keen teacher being a Senior Lecturer for the University of Queensland, School of Medicine and she is the Supervisor for Surgical Training at Royal Brisbane and Womens' Hospital.
