Academic Appointments
Dr Green completed his medical degree in Tasmania before moving to the mainland to commence surgical training. He finally settled in Brisbane for his advanced general surgical training that he completed in 2010 at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
He underwent post fellowship training in Breast and Endocrine Surgery in 2011 at the Mater Hospital and completed a second year as the Ramsay Health Breast and Endocrine Fellow at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and North West Private Hospital.
Dr Green has a specialist interest in complex thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal disease. He also has a keen interest in breast cancer and high-risk breast cancer patients. He currently holds positions of staff specialist Breast and Endocrine surgery at Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. He is also a visiting surgeon to St Andrews War Memorial Hospital and Holy Spirt Northside Private Hospital and consults from our rooms at these sites.

Research Interests
Dr Green has a keen interest in Breast cancer research. He received a QLD Office of Health and Medical Research (OHMR) Scholarship in 2012 to support his current PhD in Breast Cancer Molecular Genetics, investigating potential Biomarkers to predict and identify early disease recurrence. He has established a 5 year prospective study being conducted conjointly at the RBWH and the UQ Centre for Clinical research (UQCCR)
