Dr Reena Mohan

Dr Reena Mohan is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist committed to providing high quality women’s health care. She has acquired a high level of competency in both clinical and surgical skills through extensive training at Westmead, Blacktown and Auburn Hospitals and has completed a year of dedicated training in general and laparoscopic gynaecology surgery and 6 months of obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound.

Dr Mohan is currently working as a staff specialist at Westmead and Auburn Hospitals where she runs the antenatal and gynaecology clinics. She is a member of the AGES (Australasian Gynaecological and Endoscopy Surgery Society)

She will be delivering patients at Westmead Public, Westmead Private and Norwest Private Hospitals. Gynaecological surgical procedures will be provided at all the above hospitals. She provides pregnancy (obstetric) care at the highest level, enabling expectant mothers to have a positive, reassuring and relaxed pregnancy. Her holistic approach to the wellbeing and comfort of her patients is well recognised. She also provides a range of gynaecological services and is pleased to be able to offer patients the most advanced and minimally invasive treatments for a wide range of gynaecological conditions.

She is a firm believer in approachability and communication within her practice. It is her aim to provide patients with accurate information based on the latest research and technology allowing patients to make the most informed decisions about their care.

Dr Mohan has a strong and keen interest in research and has published in Australian Journal of Ultrasound Medicine and is currently involved in 2 ongoing researches at Westmead Hospital. She has an ongoing commitment to medical education and is regularly involved in teaching students of University of Sydney and Notre Dame University and is an examiner.

She can conduct her consultation in English and Hindi.

A new mum of a beautiful girl, Dr Reena understands the pressure of balancing work and family. Being a mum has taught her the importance of commitment and dedication, discipline and patience. She takes great pride in her work and the opportunity that it gives her to assist in the establishment of happy, healthy families for her patients.
